When you hire someone to work on trees close to your home, licensing and insurance aren’t optional extras — they’re the baseline. Brothers Tree Service is a fully licensed arborist team with 15 years of residential and commercial experience in performing tree removal in Bulleen. We offer $10 million public liability, fixed-price quotes after every site inspection, and most jobs completed within days of the first call.
Every tree removal in Bulleen starts with a site assessment, not a quote over the phone. Our arborist looks at the tree’s condition, what’s overhead, what’s alongside it and how access works before recommending a removal method or confirming the price.
Open sites with clear access allow for a straightforward fell. Restricted yards — tight fence lines, structures nearby, cables above — require sectional dismantling from the top down. It takes longer, but it’s the only way to work safely in a confined space without risk to surrounding property.
After the job, the site is cleaned up. Mulch can be left for garden beds, logs cut to firewood length if useful, or everything taken off-site. No extra charge either way.
Removal isn’t always the right answer. A tree that’s structurally sound but overgrown, unbalanced or dropping branches into problem areas is often better managed through tree pruning in Bulleen than taken out entirely.
Brothers Tree Service prunes to improve structure — removing dead and poorly attached wood, thinning the canopy to reduce wind resistance, clearing growth that’s heading toward structures or crossing branches that cause bark damage over time. The goal is a tree that’s safer, healthier and less likely to need urgent attention down the track. If you’re unsure whether your tree needs pruning or full removal, that question gets a straight answer at the site inspection.
Removal runs $300 to $1,500+. Size matters, but access is often the bigger cost driver — a large tree in an open yard is a straightforward job; the same tree between a fence and a roofline is not. Other factors that move the price: whether stump grinding is needed, the method required (full fell vs. sectional), and equipment access to the site.
